Try Writing Tutorials Instead Of Articles

Sometimes it’s good to drive some changes to your blog and your content. People like fresh stuff and they can’t wait to get their hands on something new so why don’t you try writing a tutorial or a how to instead of a regular article? Besides your steady type of visitors you can attract a lot of other fresh meat seeking for technical knowledge. Tutorials can be a very good way for increasing popularity and traffic.

It’s harder to write a quality tutorial than a regular post, obviously, but the effort usualy pays off. There’s more to tutorials than simply promotion and traffic, there’s money. People monetize everything and his dog in this world so there’s no excuse why you shouldn’t monetize tutorials. They sell very good, actually.

Say you decided to sell your own Photoshop Tips & Tricks ebook on your blog. The most successful way of monetizing your ebook is by submiting your tutorial to as many websites as you can offering enough information but leaving out the cirital parts forcing a purchase at the end. You won’t have to sell your ebook, it’s going to sell itself. Give them a taste of what’s it like and make them buy the product.

Tutorials should be interesting and exciting to read and don’t forget to provide your readers a way to interact through a fun way of tests, surveys, polls, games… For the end let me recommend EasyWebTutorials, FreshTutorials and Hotscripts as a good way of promoting your masterpieces.
