About

Sarah Palin had two successful terms as an elected city councilor or Wasilla. This was the start of what has turned into a very successful career in politics. Sarah Palin – the champion of hockey moms everywhere – currently manages to juggle being mother to five children and Governor of Alaska. Who knows which is the harder job!?

From city councilor of Wasilla Sarah Palin went on to become major of the town. Never one to be afraid of aggressive and decisive moves, she requested resignation letters and CVs from most of the towns senior officials. The town appears to have enjoyed her mix of enthusiasm and ruthlessness and her successful first term was followed by a second, and she was prevented only from a third by the rules on term limits which she had been an advocate.

Sarah Palin’s political passions include pretty much everything that could be expected of a Republican: she is pro life and pro guns. Unlike most politicians Sarah Palin can claim to have been effected by the consequences of both of these choices, going hunting with her father, often before school started, for moose when younger and, very recently, the announcement that her teenage daughter was pregnant and was to keep the baby and marry its father.
