Do you keep your posts short or do you jabber your blog out? It really depends on the topic but the average post lenght is somewhere between 200 and 400 words. Don’t burden yourself with that, write as much as there is to say. If you think it’s neccessary to write a long post then do 10,000 words because sometimes a really long post needs to be really long to cover the issue properly, but if you think a hundred words is enough then stop right there. Don’t spam your blog just to fill it up.
And don’t fluff all day long about something stupid because your visitors won’t read it. People generaly like short posts so you may also consider splitting your essay in several parts but it’s true if someone is too lazy to read the whole post then why should you care about his opinion.
