I discover new blogs every day and somehow all of them look alike. Wordpress themes are built on the same principles, plugins are almost the same on every blog and ads are positioned in usual places. I didn’t have a single “wow, looky that” face when I was browsing blogs, instead I was bored and most of all, ad positions bothered me the most. Why the hell do you put ads in places where every other blogger in the world puts them? I’ve trained my brains to simply ignore ads placed in usualy places because I’ve seen them a million times and I know they’re ads so I just skip them, why to waste my time.
Start thinking outside the box and try to make something new, be creative. Instead of all those stupid adsene boxes why don’t you make ads float? Yes that’s right. Make them follow your visitors around so wherever they go, your ads will be right there. It’s hard to overlook that. Will this bring you higher CTR? Try it, you can’t know without trying it.
This is a nice Javascript code which I’ve found sitting on my hard drive. The author is Eddie Traversa. This works in both IE and Firefox. Follow the intructions below.
1. Download this file and copy its content between your HEAD tags found in header.php file in your theme folder.
2. Now replace your old BODY tag with this code. This is also done in header.php file.
3. And finaly content. Use the code found in this file and paste it just before the closing /BODY tag and you’re set! You’ll see text saying put your own adsene code here, just replace that text with your adsense code your ready to go.
Now that was pimping your adsene in three easy steps. I hope you like it.

Why would you get banned for that?
This is a standard feature and I’ve seen this on some forums implemented with either Javascript or CSS. Can you get banned for puting AdSense in a frame? No because 1/4 of people would get banned so why would you get banned for putting it in a floating layer? AdSense says: “Only one ad unit may be placed on each web page. Ads must not be displayed on any pop-ups, pop-unders, error, registration, or “thank you” pages, or in any email.”
nice script , but it is under google TOA ?
