It is here at last! Google has finaly updated its PageRank in Q4 2007, the most awaited Update of all times. Three days ago I wrote about Google slashing penalties across the blogosphere and it looks like that was a start of DC servers update. Today (over night) it finaly occured. Congratulations to everybody whose blogs and websites increased in PR and sympathies to those who lost in PR.
marketfederation.com is now PR3 (PR0-PR3) and I want to thank you all because this could now be achieved without you, my dearest readers. This gives me even more motivation to work hard on my blog and I hope you’ll stay with me for another PR Update.
How did the PageRank Update affect your website/blog? Did you go UP or DOWN on the rank scale?

Thank you so much dude, I didn’t notice the update until now (until you congratulated me on my blog). You deserve a huge hug and tons of sweet.
While the whole world is bothered about a decrease in 2 to 3 points, we were able to make it. Yeahooooooooooooo. I’m up 4 points.

Yes I know but it’s impossible for THIS post to get ranked PR6 since it was created few hours ago. I think it’s a glitch of some sort, anyways I’m glad my blog got some GREEN at last!

What is the importance of this page rank update if all week all that was blogged about was that fact that the evil green bar has ZERO relevance in rankings and page strength.

mike b: PageRank is important if you run directories or sell links. I don’t do that so it has no relevance for me but it’s still nice to see your blog ranking somewhere because you get this feeling of improvement.

Dan, PageRank has also relevance in showing up in the search results, the pages with PageRank show up while those in the supplemental index are least shown. Hence PageRank is important not only for selling links and advertising but also for attracting search traffic.

You’re right Raj, Google traffic has increased for me since the PageRank updated. Not much but it’s noticeable.
Rajiv (Vasu), why don’t you skip Blogspot and move on to your own hosting? It’s a shame, your posts are interesting.
