Here you have few Wordpress plugins which will spice up your blog. Not really neccessary but they’re useful to some degree. They must be cool since most bloggers use them, why shouldn’t you?

.Jon’s Showoff Rankings - This widget provides you with four statistics for your blog. Google PageRank, Alexa Rank, Compete Rank and Technorati Rank. You can place it vertical, horizontal or square. This used to be a plugin but Jon made it all easier. All you have to do is put your blog address into the textbox and copy the code below into your wordpress theme’s sidebar PHP file.

.FeedCount - FeedCount is Feedburner’s RSS subscription tool for your blog readers. If you don’t have an account, register one for FREE here and under Publicize options choose FeedCount and copy the given code to your blog.

.DiggIt - This plugin allow your visitors to Digg your stories. It’s easy to install and even easier to customize. You can change colors, background, set default categories for Digg and more. Recommended.

.Lightbox - Have you seen this cool trick on some websites when you click on a thumbnail and the whole page dims into the background and the image animates to the front? Well it’s done with little tool. It’s called Lightbox. If you host images on your blog I recommend this plugin.
