Monetizing Your Newly Created Niche

Yesterday I’ve written about finding a niche on 43 Things and today I’ll share some tips on monetizing your new business. After you have successfuly started a website/blog on your new niche, you should begin to monetize it. The best way to do this is to use the largest seller of digital products on the internet, Clickbank.

Clickbank is dominant online affiliate program offering free marketing research as it tells you exactly what people are buying. You’re given real-data and statistics. Join Clickbank and after logging in you’ll see top tabs saying Promote Products and Buy Products. We will, ofcourse, promote products but first we need to see what people are looking for so choose Buy Products to do some market research.

Clickbank sorts products into categories and subcategories so you have to know what you’re looking for. Let’s use the previous article as a starting point and choose “learn to play the guitar” as our niche product. We’ll promote guitar learning lessons. Fire up the search feature and choose Fun & Entertainment as a category and input guitar lessons as keywords and click the Go button. You should see something like this:

Those are the products available on Clickbank regarding guitar lessons. You can choose to show top 10 results on a page but I have included 50 because I’d like to see as much as I can. What you got there are proven resellers of the specified product and they do make money so you can’t get wrong by choosing one of them.

Choosing a product to promote is one of the easiest things to do, considering you have researched the market. The best way to promote a product is to choose two or three (or more) similar products and write a comparison review describing the benefits of each one of them. That way the whole niche looks more authentic. All you have to do now is go back to Clickbank and click Promote Products. Happy selling!
