This blog means everything to me that’s why I work my ass off here. I wake up at 6AM in the morning, go to work and after I come home (usualy around 3PM) I spend the whole day behind my computer working directly and indirectly on my blog and I go to sleep at midnight. I make sure to cover all aspects of marketfederation.com:
- Researching the market
- Discovering potential readers
- Searching for partners
- Promoting my blog
- Finding new ideas
- Optimizing for search engines
- Posting on forums
- Improving my writing skills
- Working on a design
- Reviewing comments
Besides eating, sleeping and working, this blog is everything I do from Monday to Friday which takes some 5 - 8 hours daily. I work hard and hard work is starting to pay off. Marketfederation.com is a little older than a month and I already have
- Backlinks 465
- Google: 108 links
- MSN Search: 196 links
- Yahoo!: 273 links
- AlltheWeb: 271 links
- AltaVista: 272 links
- AlexaRank 738,313
- TechnoratiRank 500,785

- Waiting for a decent PageRank
thanks to the promotion of my blog on social bookmarking websites and posting on DigitalPoint and SitePoint forums. Besides that I have some loyal readers (Cifra - wwwSnob, vangardx) contributing comments regularly, thank you guys.
Today I installed Kontera, Amazon Affiliates and AdBrite (apperantly I’m not good enough for Google AdSense) to have something to write about in the future. While Kontera and Adbrite are here just for testing purposes, Amazon Affiliates is staying because it’s useful and ads are not intruding. While making zero money from my blog, marketfederation.com is worth an amazing 5,600$ according to dnScoop.
It’s not easy to blog, especially to a tough and demaning readers as you are but when I see someone subscribe to my RSS feed or make a comment to one of my posts - I feel like all the hard work is payed off and every single minute I spend working here is worth it and I really don’t need any money because a sattisfied reader is the only reward I’ll ever need.
Thank you guys because I would probably be shutting down my blog if there weren’t for you. As always, I’m accepting constructive comments regarding my blog and my blogging in general so if you have anything to add, please feel free to email me anytime.

No problem vangardx. Tell me, how did you manage to get Google AdSense running on your blog?
My site means a lot to me aswell, this past few weeks I have started to spend a lot more time on it about 8 hours a day and so far it has been worth.
You reap what you so

stubsy thanks for commenting, I just found another blog worth visiting everyday. I like your design a lot, we’ll be seeing each other more often.
Great I look forward to it. Your design is very good too
How did i manage google ads running in my blog? What do u mean by that?

I mean “are there any requirements neccessary in order to get approved by Google”?
How do you find Amazon banner usefull?
I’ve put their banner on some sites, but - NOTHING, maybe a few clicks but no revenue at all…
Maybe I need to optimize it better, but I think I done the best there is to it - content adjustment.
They are “nice”, fills the blanks on website and gives more content, but is it worth keeping on site with no revenue?

Darko Matic: I have no revenue either but it fills up my blank space just as you said. I’m not very happy with them because their ads are not content related but they don’t require a credit card to sign up so that’s why I went with them. If you’re looking for a good affiliate program I’d suggest AuctionAds but they only pay by PayPal.
It’s pretty weird you were not accepted in the Google AdSense program. This has never happened to me, although i have quite a few blogs.
As for the Amazon ads, they only pay up on sites about gadgets and laptops and stuff, and only in the holidays period. Other from that, you might insert it manually in your post when you’re talking about a product on sale there. This has worked OK for me in the past .
Besides Kontera and the others, you should try Text Link Ads. They have links ads, contextual ads inside the text and even Feedvertising. It’s a pretty good service and works together with AdSense for example

Yes, I’m really surprised because I’ve seen many blogs ranking lower than mine in any aspect and yet they run AdSense. It’s quite a good lesson actually, it reminds me not to depend only on Google.
Nice…
