As an experienced and long-time user of Salvia for its wonderful hallucinogenic properties, I know that it gives what I term a ‘Subjective’ trip. That is, it is one that is dependent almost entirely on your mood, your tiredness, the surroundings and your attitude towards the trip before it starts. I have never known two trips start or end the same way.
For me, this difference in Salvia‘s opinion about how it will treat you is all part of the magic and mystery behind the wonderful little drug. It is also what makes it a fantastic group experience; not a group experience in the sense of “let’s all do this at the same time” but more of being able to discuss the different effects of the various types of Salvia trip that we have all encountered.
Some people liken Salvia to Marijuana while others point out that it is more like LSD. Both argue that the other side is wrong. Fact is neither is wrong and neither is right: Salvia is many things to many people. It is many things to one person if you try it more than once.
Don’t write off Salvia before you’ve tried it, if only because it is literally impossible to know before you try it whether you will like its effect on you.
