Search Engine Roundtable reported people in China getting redirected from Google and Yahoo to Chinese search engine Baidu. What a slimy way of promoting your own search engine. I understand Communist governments (regarding their point of view) restricting access to some websites online but this internet censorship has gotten too far. By blocking Google and Wikipedia you’re preventing your own people from absorbing knowledge so you’re damaging them in the first place, dumbass.
China blocks Google, Youtube, Yahoo, Microsoft, Flickr, Altavista, Babelfish, Turkey bans Youtube and Wordpress, Saudi Arabia bans Myspace, Orkut and Hi5. Welcome to the 21st century, paranoid people.
