So what’s up with BlogRush? There has been a lot of activity lately at BlogRush where the team tried everything to solve the problem of low CTR slash no CTR-at-all. They have eliminated over 10,000 blogs from the system to provide the rest with top quality content and they’ve promised more traffic for bloggers. Here’s a list of new features:
TrafficJam
TrafficJam is still under development. This is going to be a news website displaying the hottest feeds from multiple categories from BlogRush network. Something like Digg and Sphinn that will rank posts by category and BUZZ meter technology.
Thin Widget
No more wide widgets that can’t fit in the sidebar. There’s a new flavour of widgets called ThinWidgets of all colors that are slim enough to fit in the very beginning of your blog where there’s a chance of 42% CTR increase (claimed by data in Phase 2). You’re no more forced to put the BlogRush to the bottom of your blog where no one can see it.
Perfomance Monitor
Soon the “widget performance monitor” will be added to the network that will monitor low-performing widgets. Bloggers will be notified that they need to improve the positioning for their widget and if they fail they will be removed from the BlogRush. That is to preserve the quality of the network.
Widget Use
All bloggers must have widgets enabled on their blogs. If any member have an inactive widget for an extended period of time (30+ days) will be terminated from the network and his account will be closed permanently.
There’s a 20min video presentation of the new dashboard interface showing the features and new functions for members available for preview here.
