4 Most Hottest Digg Tools

Social bookmarking websites are very popular among bloggers, most because they drive traffic to their blogs. According to some of the tech journals Digg is currently the most used online bookmarking service web wide so I think it deserves a post. Below you have a short description of four most hottest Digg tools. Do you Digg it?

Diggwatcher
Gary Cartensen has built a Diggwatcher, a flash application that monitors a single Digg story showing how many people have dugg it so far. It runs in the background so you can safely install it on your blog without your visitors even knowing it. Diggwatcher refreshes every sixty seconds and you have an option to recieve sound alert when someone diggs your story.

DiggCharts
This flash tool allows you to preview stories in table format sorted by category or user. It has a nice popularity comparison chart showing diggs, comments and overall popularity of a single story. The graf at the bottom displays story popularity over a larger period of time so you can see its progression.

Digg Entourage
Developed by Russ Jones, Digg Entourage finds out who diggs you. This is what he says about it.

Ever wonder whose got your back on Digg? The Digg Entourage tool checks the last 25 stories you submitted, figures out who dugg the most of them, and prints out your Digg Entourage along with tons of data on who your friends really are (or who should be)!

WordWeb
With WordWeb you can find out what are the most searched keywords on Digg and use it for your own benefit. You can search in different categories and sub-categories, set story count and range of popular, upcoming or all stories. It has a nice flash interface and you can also click on keywords to display more information.

I hope you squeeze the most out of these tools for your own blog. Happy digging!
